Our mission is to make climate change understandable, relevant and actionable for young people and communities. We do this by bringing together education, creativity, technology, innovation, dialogue and citizen participation.
An umbrella protects. It also brings people together.
For us, the Purple Umbrella represents a shared space — one where different ideas, disciplines, generations and communities can come together around one of the defining challenges of our time.
Purple represents imagination, possibility and transformation. The umbrella represents collective protection and collective action. Together, they represent our belief that climate action is not the responsibility of one person, one institution or one generation. It is something we build together.

Young people will experience the consequences of today's climate decisions for decades to come. But they are already learners, creators, innovators, communicators, citizens, community members and change-makers.
